Over the last few days of this week and last week, several unexpected weather events took place such as heavy thunderstorms and rainfall that caused games to be postponed or even being halted in the middle of a game.
This week was sort of in jeopardy as Reedley Little League at Camacho Park is winding down its regular season to make way for playoffs and All Star tryouts for the 9 through 12 age group. Reedley Babe Ruth at the Reedley High Varsity baseball fields has caused some games to be rescheduled as well.
Weather is looking pretty unusual for the next few days of this coming week, with the hopes of both locations to run their games on their usual schedule before they run out of time.
Camacho Park’s minor league field is prone to flooding as well that causes some minor delays for the minors games scheduled within the timeframe. At most cases, some games may eventually be rescheduled due to the flood, even with a bright sunny weather. Flooding is not a case at the major league field as it is not that close to the small lake found just right in the area of Camacho Park.
Weather issues at the Reedley High Varsity field is uncommon, however no reports of flooding has been made.
Weather seems to hold up for the next few days just to wrap up most games that are rescheduled for the Reedley Little League at Camacho Park.
